BARDEL ANIMATES CONNOR AND SPARKY!

It's the fight between Tabitha vs. Lauren in our newest episode Enter: Lauren. Now normally I didn't do a storyboard on this episode, as I mostly focused on the first 3 seasons that previously aired on Teletoon in my country (I bet they're probably airing the same episodes again right now). But furthermore, Bardel Entertainment has officially started animation service work for Season 4 !

As the creator of the Tales of Toon franchise, I wanted to tell you that the second Tales of Toon movie will be in theatres next year.

Some Really Old Stuff.

Hey Kids!

Here's some old lineups from season one. Someone pointed out that the actual character lineups were never posted. These drawings are the FINAL DESIGNS from way way back in 2005. You probably might have guessed that here were all sorts of design changes during the development process -- but did you know that these drawings are the 12th version of the lineups?

Earlier lineups had different colors, character sizes, heights, etc. But this is pretty much where we ended up before the show started airing in 2006.

Things from Back in the Day

While looking for things to post, I stumbled upon these early designs for the characters. I remember doing the pilot years ago. You can tell that at that point that the pilot was still being done in digital ink and paint (like we did during Studio B's swtich to Flash days). When the real show started in 2005, everything was just done in Flash.

Junior stayed, but the Studio B animators refused to do models for Belle and Flora! *cough*JAYSON*cough*

Meet Lauren!

Guess what?! Connor and Sparky have a new neighbour! That's right, Connor and Sparky have a new friend on the block and we're SO excited for you to meet her. Her name is Lauren and, although they don't know it yet, Connor, Sparky and the rest of Oaksdale are really going to have fun with her. We'll get to know her bit by bit as Season 4 progresses.

Help Wanted!

Say folks, do you live in the LA/Vancouver area, know how to use Flash/Photoshop, dig animation and want to work for no money on The Connor and Sparky Show this season?

We want to bring on someone who already loves the show, not just someone who needs college credit. Oh yeah, you would need to be enrolled in school and receiving credit for this.
